Reading this list of visitors to Krishna.com makes me want to know more about who these people are. Who is that aspiring devotee of Krishna on Norfolk Island, way out in the Pacific Ocean? Who are the three people in Greenland? Or the four folks on the Cook Islands, checking us out?

Amazing. Mind boggling.

I like to think of Krishna.com as an introductory book that keeps on giving. Once discovered, people can keep coming back to read / listen / watch more about Krishna, and they have an opportunity to read all of Srila Prabhupada's books online.

Our Founder-Acharya Srila Prabhupada once said:

"Be assured that there is no more direct way to preach than to distribute Krishna conscious books. Whoever gets a book is benefited. If he reads the book he is benefited still more, or if he gives the book to someone else for reading, both he and the other person is benefited. Even if one does not read the book but simply holds it and sees it, he is benefited. If he simply gives small donation towards the work of Krishna consciousness he is benefited. And anyone who distributes these transcendental literatures, he is also benefited. Therefore Sankirtana is the prime benediction for the age." [Letter to German disciples, 6 May 1977]

What would Srila Prabhupada have said about Krishna.com and the Internet "brihad mridanga" of electronic book distribution?

I'd like to think he would approve. That he would be thrilled about the four people on the Cook Islands taking an active interest in Krishna consciousness, and the 1,483 in Iran, and the 931,000 in the United States.

Speaking of which, let's take a closer look at the United States. Here we have 34 Hare Krishna temples. Given a generous estimate of 10,000 congregation per temple, that would add up to about 340,000 followers at large. Who are the remaining 591,000 spiritual seekers, curious about Krishna, visiting Krishna.com in the USA alone? These five-hundred ninety-one thousand fortunate people are surely benefiting. Imagine the good fortune and benefit they are getting from typing "Krishna" into Google, finding Krishna.com, reading a few pages about Krishna, seeing paintings of Krishna, watching live webcasts from temples, listening to kirtans, reading online books...

And these visitors are just from the past two years. 10-year statistics show about 7 million Krishna.com visitors from 224 countries.

What's next? Help us distribute this wealth of information about Krishna to 7 billion visitors, to every person on the planet. Consider joining our family of supporters. Give a donation.

PS: If we were to divide total population by Krishna.com visitors, Gibraltar would be in the lead with 1.43% of its population, closely followed by Mauritius with 1.42%. Canada would be at 0.44% and the US at 0.3% (that's one person in every 300). India would trail at 0.07%.
